Chris crashes into a carload of other young people, and the group of stranded motorists is soon lost in the woods of West Virginia, where they're hunted by three cannibalistic mountain men who are grossly disfigured by generations of inbreeding.
A lean, punishing chase through backwoods West Virginia that trades atmosphere for velocity. Once the hunt begins it rarely lets you breathe, pinning you in claustrophobic forest with predators who know the terrain far better than the prey. The dread here is physical and immediate — the fear of being tracked, cornered, and outmatched in a place no one will find you.
