Seminary student Michael Kovak reluctantly attends exorcism school at the Vatican. While he’s in Rome, Michael meets an unorthodox priest who introduces him to the darker side of his faith, uncovering the devil’s reach even to one of the holiest places on Earth.
A slow, cold descent into doubt where the true torment is not the possessed but the man who cannot bring himself to believe. The dread accrues in silences and half-glimpsed wrongness, tightening around your certainty until faith and reason feel equally unreliable. Hopkins lets the temperature drop by degrees.
