Dr. David Marrow invites three distinct individuals to the eerie and isolated Hill House to be subjects for a sleep disorder study. The unfortunate guests discover that Marrow is far more interested in the sinister mansion itself — and they soon see the true nature of its horror.
A colossal house swallows you first, then begins to whisper. This is dread engineered at scale — carved cherubs, groaning corridors, and rooms that seem to breathe. The fear here is architectural and slow-building, less about what leaps out than about the mounting certainty that the walls are watching, and that leaving may not be your choice.
