As an evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep, the only protection for a mother and her twin sons is their house and their family’s protective bond.
Aja tightens the walls until the air itself feels rationed. This is dread by attrition — a mother, two sons, and a rope of belief holding back whatever waits past the treeline. The horror lives in doubt: what you cannot verify, and what you cannot afford to disbelieve. Isolation curdles into something you feel in your chest.
