Tommy Jarvis, tormented by the fear that maybe Jason isn't really dead, unwittingly resurrects the mass murderer for another bloody rampage.
This is slasher fear at its most playful, where dread arrives wrapped in a grin. The tension is real but never suffocating, punctuated by knowing winks and a body count delivered with theatrical relish. Your pulse climbs, then laughs, then climbs again. It scares by embracing the ritual of the hunt.
