A stranger stumbles into the desert town of Absolution with no memory of his past and a futuristic shackle around his wrist. More frontier survival thriller than pure horror, this leans on dread of the unknown descending on a dust-choked town. The creatures strike from above and drag victims into the dark, and the terror lives in those abduction moments and the helplessness of men with six-shooters facing something they cannot comprehend.
