Eight years after seemingly destroying the killer doll, teen Andy Barclay is placed in a military school, and the spirit of Chucky returns to renew his quest and seek vengeance after being recreated from a mass of melted plastic.
A slasher that trades suburban unease for regimented halls, where the threat wears a familiar plastic grin and never tires of the chase. The dread here is relentless rather than subtle, punctuated by that unmistakable voice and a cruelty played half for laughs. Expect tension wound tight around a menace that simply refuses to stay dead.
