In the aftermath of a devastating defeat by his archnemesis Admiral Smee, Captain Hook finds refuge in the coastal town of Eldritch Landing.
A gothic reimagining that trades adventure for salt-rot dread, this is horror steeped in the sea's oldest terrors. The atmosphere presses in like fog off black water, patient and cold, promising something ancient beneath the waves. What surfaces here works slowly on the nerves, less a scare than a slow flooding of the lungs.
