In town for a job interview, a young woman arrives at her Airbnb late at night only to find that it has been mistakenly double-booked and a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgement, she decides to stay the night anyway.
Barbarian weaponizes ordinary hesitation, then keeps pulling the floor out from under you. It begins with the small, familiar dread of a stranger and a locked door, then descends into something darker and more architectural. Every reassurance feels like a trap, and your nerves never learn where the danger actually lives.
