After exorcising the demons of his ex, Malcolm starts afresh with his new girlfriend and her two children. After moving into their dream home, Malcolm is once again plagued by bizarre paranormal events.
This is horror wearing a whoopee cushion. The genre's signature devices are here—the possessed house, the demonic torment, the slow-building dread—but every scare is defused into slapstick before your pulse can climb. What lingers isn't fear so much as the memory of what these tropes usually do to you.
